Your New Year's Resolution

Your New Year's Resolution, just like any other life goal, needs to be SMART. Yeah, SMART, not just as in clever though!

S.M.A.R.T. is a handy acronym suggested by Doran in 1981, which stands for:

- Specific: a well defined goal is clear!

- Measurable: Do you know exactly what and how much you want of it?

- Achievable: think about it! Is it really attainable?

- Relevant: how important it is to you?

- Timely: if you make it time-bond it'll be simpler for you to pursue it and monitor your progress.

Once you cover all these elements you'll know very well what you're aiming at.

Never forget that a sense of purpose equals to life direction, and directions always need to be as clear as possible.

Visit mindprospect.com to read how I help my patients set and achieve SMART goals.

May you all start your year smartly!
