What therapeutic approach do you use?

Mind Prospect is a collaborative and  client-based approach that combines extensive applications of CBT, hypnotherapy, and health coaching, with the ultimate goal to enable patients to gain the skills necessary to address their sources of distress.

Will I be unconscious during hypnosis?

Given the collaborative nature of this approach, the patient will be conscious and perfectly aware during the treatment. It's extremely rare for patients to experience minor forms amnesia - i.e., not remembering what happened during the session.

Can the hypnotist make me do anything against my will?

No, hypnotherapy requires collaboration, hence awareness, to be effective. Nothing considered objectionable by the patient can be requested by the therapist.
In order to accept the hypnotic suggestions, patients must consciously choose to follow them.

Can I recover repressed memories through hypnotherapy?

Hypnosis is highly discouraged when it comes to recover memories. That's because the hypnotic states can be intensely vivid, therefore false memories may be installed.

How long does each therapy session take?

Normally 1 hour, but some in-call sessions may be 55 minutes due to the room booking policies of those sites.

How many sessions will I need?

This can change depending on the case, and will be evaluated together on the first or second session. However, approximately 4 sessions are on average required to achieve satisfactory results.

Will the information disclosed be kept confidential?

The therapist will guarantee a professional therapeutic alliance, abiding by the Codes of Ethics & Good Practice, so that the therapy contract will be made clear, and the information disclosed kept confidential.
Confidentiality can only be breached if it's believed that the patient can cause serious harm to himself or others.
